Sugar, rice, cocoa, corn, tea and coffee play a large role in our daily lives. But the way we consume these products has a devastating impact on small farmers and the environment. Yet, there are some real alternatives. International trade expert and social entrepreneur Tristan Lecomte knows that simple solutions already exist, which enable us to develop economic growth, protect social welfare, while respecting the environment. Enterprising farming  communities prove it  on a daily basis. Tristan travels around the world to meet with the main actors and decision-makers of these huge economic sectors. But he will also take us on a discovery of this other world, in which certain farmers and co-operatives have refused an unfair economic model, offering instead realistic alternative solutions.
