Two baby eagles have been born on a great cliff... Thus starts the story that leads us on this journey of discovery of the wildlife in the mountains. Thanks to ultra-keen senses, the golden eagle can outwit marmots, chamois and ibex, stand up to its own kind, triumph in clashes with rivals, and survive winter. But a bird of prey that’s almost 3-meters wide, the bearded vulture, flies over the valley and fully intends on settling there. How will this bone-breaking vulture share the golden eagle’s territory? This film, which was shot over a period of seven years, tells the story of the lives of «kings of the sky». It takes us on a tremendous aerial journey whose backdrop is the majestic wilderness of the Alps.
