In a context of permanent threat, territorial security is a major challenge. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring security on transport, and keeping at bay the dangers that threaten us are high risk operations. Meet the men and women who take on this challenge daily. In Paris, we will join rapid intervention, rescue, and surveillance forces, these elite units who constantly watch over the Parisians, protecting them against natural hazards as well as criminal and terrorist acts. On the road, we’ll follow those who ensure the safety of road users : law enforcement officers, rescue units, traffic monitors. On board their high-speed vehicles or with their eyes glued to their monitors, we’ll discover how reactivity and cutting-edge technology are pivotal to their missions. In the air, we’ll board helicopters and mirages to get the closest look possible at the day-to-day lives of these units where the keyword is urgency. In the sea, we shall dive into the heart of the navy, which, thanks to reconnaissance planes, semaphores and rapid intervention units, constantly watch over the coastline. Follow the missions of these defence units which will do anything to protect their territory, sometimes risking their own lives.
