Truck drivers: Life on the road

There are over 300,000 HGV drivers on the roads of France. Aboard their 44-tonne trucks, they supply our supermarkets, deliver our parcels or transport hazardous materials.

It's a job synonymous with passion and adventure: truck drivers often take on difficult terrain, whether in the middle of the city or the heart of the mountains.

Often alone at the wheel of their vehicle, the diversity of their missions takes them to some of the most beautiful panoramas in France... A freedom that comes at a price: being far from loved ones.

Despite this, these road enthusiasts wouldn't trade their nomadic lifestyle for anything in the world.
