War and Peace in the Countryside

Very close yet invisible, wildlife is abundant in our crops and our gardens... and sometimes bothersome! Against plant pests, our response is usually chemical. But what if our answer came from nature? Butterflies love aphids right? Falcons eat mice… So why couldn’t we use nature to help control pests? A positive and humorous insight into two opposing worlds and their radically different impact on the fauna of our countryside: on one side, an ecological farm and home and on the other, a conventional farm and house using chemical pesticides. The ambitious mini-series looks into an environmental problem with a different and new approach, filmed from the point of view of the animals, following different wild animal species. The collection will first explore the lives of those countryside animals living around the «organic» house and that of their neighbours living near a «typical» home using every day chemical products. The second episode will take us to meet the animals living on an ecological farm and their counterparts on a farm using conventional methods.
