Altice and Kwanza ink distribution deal for new documentaries produced by RMC Production

Altice France, France’s top telecom and media convergence operator, and Kwanza, a key player in international distribution of documentaries are proud to announce a 4-year distribution deal for programs produced by RMC. So far, Kwanza has committed to handling international sales for more than 40 hours of content produced or in production in 2020 and 2021. Eventually, the deal could cover a much higher volume of programming in the coming years. The strategic partnership goes beyond distribution to include early-stage financing of projects with international clients. The news comes in the wake of an already fruitful collaboration initiated 2 years ago, with the co-production and distribution of the film Petra: Secrets of the Ancient Builders. This documentary was pre-bought by National Geographic Worldwide and sold in 13 other territories, including Germany (Welt), Italy (Rai) and Australia (SBS). Among the first titles to enter Kwanza catalogue are several great audience successes, such as: Battle of Okinawa: Operation Iceberg (594,000 viewers), Chenonceau: Royals of the River (726,000 viewers) and 1945: The Year that Changed History (695,000 viewers)...
