Crafting the Perfect Treehouse

This documentary reveals the daily life of a high-end tree house construction company whose values are respect for the environment and craftsmanship. Rémi Bécherel, head of the company, is a carpenter and Compagnon du devoir. With the fifty or so craftsmen he employs, he designs some fifty custom cabins every year, and travels the roads of France to build them in sometimes extreme conditions.

From design to on-site assembly, including wood machining in their 1,000m2 workshop in the Périgord region, discover all the stages involved in these often unusual constructions perched in the heart of nature.
