Ku Klux Klan: Hatred Made in the USA

1x52' or 1x70' HD

Though continuously waxing and waning over time, the Ku Klux Klan seems to have made a comeback in recent years, thanks greatly to populist Donald Trump’s emergence on the political scene in 2016. Using insights by leading experts on the KKK and rightwing extremism in the US, personal accounts by police officers and FBI who infiltrated the organization, ex-Klan members, as well as families of victims, we'll attempt to chronicle the origins of America’s most famous racist and criminal organization. We’ll explore the meaning of their rituals, symbols and traditions. We’ll then look at how the Klan has evolved over several decades, and what exactly their situation is today.

Finally, we'll set out to meet current members to try and understand better what their convictions are, and by extension, their vision of what America should be.
